BEHIND THE LENS

My photography journey began when I was 20 years old. Since then, I have dedicated myself to this art almost every day. Street photography was my earliest passion, and the Magnum photographers were my greatest inspiration. Back then, I didn’t care about the commercial side of photography—I was simply in love with the art, approaching it purely as an amateur.

A few years later, photography naturally became my full-time profession here in Chania, Crete—it couldn’t have unfolded any other way. I quickly realized that what fulfilled me the most was photographing people, so I focused on wedding photography and personal photo sessions, such as couple portraits and family shoots.

I’ve come to understand that what truly matters to me—my purpose—is bringing joy and emotion by capturing love and meaningful moments in people’s lives. I’m also passionate about providing a comfortable photography experience, especially for people who are not used to being in front of the camera.

One of my greatest joys is diving into the magnificent seas of Crete — a place that continues to inspire me both personally and creatively. I also enjoy riding my motorcycle, a small escape that brings a sense of freedom and clarity. What truly enriches my life is traveling with my wife and our two children. Experiencing new cultures and discovering new places adds color to my world and influences the way I see, feel, and ultimately photograph.
